Yellow Tail is a brand of Casella Wines, which began in 1957 when the Casella family moved from Italy to Australia for a better life, bringing with them winemaking experience dating back to the 1820s.

Since Yellow Tail's launch in 2000, intended for the export market, it has exploded to become Australia's number one exporter of wine. To keep up with growth, the winery has installed the fastest bottling line in the world and has to date shipped over 1 billion bottle of wine, perhaps the best-loved wine in the world.
