Weyborne Estate Family Reserve Brut has fresh and intense aromas of citrus, pear and apricot with subtle notes of hazelnuts and discreet sweet buttery notes. On the palate, it's sweet and fleshy. It seduces with a pleasant freshness and persistent mousse with excellent balance.
Vintage 2018: A year to remember with four perfect weeks of weather, centred on flowering, that managed to produce a plentiful harvest (around three times the previous average yield) with a generous bounty of grape bunches and sugar levels to match. It was a year that's not likely to be easily matched for quality and abundance.
Food Match: This beautiful sparkling wine is a great accompaniment to a range of foods including paté with pickles, crabmeat with lemon, shrimps on toast, salmon with nage sauce, chives and trout roe. Or, it can be enjoyed on its own.
