Vecchia Romagna Riserva 18 Year Old Brandy is a remarkable blend of spirits aged for a minimum of 18 years in oak barriques and then finished in barrels that previously contained Amarone della Valpolicella Italian wine. It has an intense aroma profile.
Vecchia Romagna Riserva 18 has a bright, warm amber colour, with hints of mahogany and gold. Spicy notes on the nose play with tobacco leaf, with touches of dried fruit and bold notes of walnut and fig. Smooth, intense and persistent on the palate. Yellow candied fruit flavours blend with spicy notes of cinnamon, pimento and cloves. The complex notes of walnut leaf and newly dried tobacco leaf come to the fore, with background notes of coffee and fortified wines such as madeira.
It's best tasted neat to fully appreciate all its complexity and sensory qualities.
