Remy Martin has a proud heritage dating back to 1724 when a young winegrower from Cognac began selling cognac under his own name. Martin's excellent cognacs were soon recognised as in 1738, King Louis XV granted him the rare right to plant new vines.
Remy Martin specialises in Fine Champagne Cognac, selecting its eaux-de-vie only from the Grande Champage and Petite Champagne regions, the two top crus of the Cognac region. It is the top producer of Fine Champagne Cognac, responsible for 80% of its production in the region. |
