Muckle Flugga

Muckle Flugga is one of only four whiskies bottled on Unst, the most northerly inhabited British Isle, located in the Shetland Isles. Muckle Flugga is a blend of six single malts which are matured in bespoke barrels in a secret location near to the uninhabited island of Muckle Flugga where the Muckle Flugga Lighthouse stands.

Named after the island, its name is an Old Norse expression meaning "large steep-sided island". Muckle Flugga is a whisky to put Shetland on the map for whisky production.
