Morris Muscat Barrel Finish has a creamy mouth feel, full of rich dark fruits and sweet malty notes, fading into sweet vanilla and cocoa with wisps of cinnamon spice. The primary maturation is in a combination of French and American oak ex-wine casks. This is followed by an extended maturation in Morris multi-award winning ex-fortified Muscat barrels.
A rich, deep copper colour with reddish hues. The nose is rich with dates, figs and sweetnesss of dark molasses. Well-balanced, complex and creamy mouth feel. Notes of dried fig, sweet maltiness, vanilla and spices. The lovely oak finish is satisfying with an after taste that lingers.
