Golden Dawn is a classic cocktail that harmoniously blends the rich flavors of apple brandy, apricot brandy, gin, and orange juice, creating a vibrant and refreshing drink. Background:
This pre-dinner cocktail won the International Cocktail Competition in London in 1930. Nine years later, Walter A. Madigan made a Golden Dawn without the Calvados and was runner-up at the International Cocktail Championship of the World in London in 1939. He should have stuck to the original recipe!
