Egg Nog
Ingredients:
Add all the ingredients except the milk into a shaker and SHAKE vigorously. Strain into a highball glass. Add the milk and STIR. Sprinkle with fresh, finely grated nutmeg. If you use hot milk, the drink becomes a Hot Egg Nog.
A traditional Christmas morning drink. This cocktail is believed to have originated in the 17th century, apparently coming from an English habit of adding a beaten egg to a "noggin" - a small mug of strong beer. To thicken the mixture more egg yolk can be added, or alternatively it can be thinned by adding more milk. The consistency of this cocktail is down to a matter of personal taste.
