Blue Lagoon

Ingredients:
30ml Tanqueray London Dry Gin
30ml Volare Blue Curacao
150ml Premium Lemonade
Blue Lagoon is a vibrant and refreshing cocktail that combines the crispness of vodka with the citrusy sweetness of blue curaçao and lemonade.

Instructions:
  1. Fill a highball glass with ice cubes.
  2. Pour in the Vodka.
  3. Add the Blue Curaçao.
  4. Top up with 150ml of Premium Lemonade.
  5. Stir gently to combine the ingredients.
  6. Garnish with a lemon slice and a maraschino cherry on the rim of the glass.

Background:
The son of the Harry from Harry's New York Bar, Paris, Andy MacElhone created this colourful long drink in the 1960's when blue curacao first appeared in a bottle. Andy originally served a Blue Lagoon with fresh lemon juice rather than lemonade. However lemonade has gained in popularity as the ingredient of choice for this cocktail.
