Midori melon liqueur made its grand entrance in 1978 with a a launch party at Studio 54, the world's most famous New York nightclub. It was immediately loved and found itself used in both the first and second prize winning cocktails at the US Bartender Guild Annual Competition that same year: "The Universe" and "Green Goddess".
Taking its name from the Japanese word for "green", Midori melon liqueur is today available in over 50 countries and is an excellent and versatile ingredient for any bartender or cocktail maker. |
