One of the most prestigious names in champagne. Krug Champagne is known for its deep flavour, uncompromising style and ranks amongst the most expensive in the world.

The house was founded in 1843 by Johann Joseph Krug. The distinctive taste of Krug Champagnes - full, rich and nutty, comes from the highly traditional way in which they are vinified. Krug is the only house which ferments all its wines in small oak barriques. This process undoubtedly influences the champagne style, which is quite unlike any other. A most crucial factor in the quality here also is the family's meticulous and rigorous approach to the fine art of blending.
