Jp Chenet

JP Chenet is the creation of Joseph Helfrich, beginning with a unique bottle with a curved neck and large body he named "Josephine" that required specialised equipment to produce. JP Chenet then immediately distinguished itself from the traditional French market by focusing on the grape variety instead of the appellation.

Launching with a Cabernet Sauvignon and Blanc de Blancs, JP Chenet was met with immediate success and very quickly expanded its range to include a sweeter white and a rose wine and then again in the 1990s to include bi-varietal wines, of which the Cabernet-Syrah remains the most prized of the range.
