Tasting Notes
Nose: A sophisticated bouquet of aromas, with notes of rich vanilla, toasted oak, and subtle hints of caramelised agave. There's a delicate presence of dried fruit, like raisins and figs, along with a touch of spice that hints at the tequila's barrel-aging.
Palate: Velvety smooth, with a remarkable balance of sweetness and complexity. Flavours of dark chocolate, brown sugar, and soft baking spices (cinnamon, clove) mingle harmoniously with the smooth oak and honeyed agave. The interplay of vanilla and toasty wood creates a depth that lingers long after each sip.

Unquenching gulps of the purest air, clear skies, wandering along naked blue roads embroidered with swirling agave clustered in the deep golds and ochres of the earth.
Blood red buildings and rich earth-coloured tones impudently interpenetrate and mix day and night. This is my interpretation of a landscape and its native product, of this fabled and deeply rooted historical tradition: the distillation of a most delicious elixir and creation of the profound alchemy of Mexico.

A distinguished artist, using unique design methods made Ana Pellicer a natural choice as the creative artist for the 2024 Collector's Box. Pellicer's work is celebrated globally and has been featured in some of the world’s most prestigious cultural institutions, including the esteemed New York Museum of Modern Art and the sculpture garden of the Museum of Modern Art in Mexico City.
"I've long admired the craftsmanship, philosophy, and, of course, the quality of Reserva de la Familia, but what I've found most special about this precious tequila is how it embodies familial strength,” said Pellicer. "To be selected as the designer for this year's collector's box is a tremendous honour, and I am proud to create artwork that represents the colours, shapes, and tone of one of Mexico's most iconic landscapes for one of the world's most celebrated tequilas.”
