The design for this limited edition bottle of Johnnie Walker King George V has been created by Chinese artist Shan Jiang featuring a stunning illustration of the Bai Ze; a cow-like mythical creature with horns and wings. It symbolises virtuousness, nobility and protection from evil. King George V is an elegantly rich and creamy whisky, with rarity reflected in every drop.
Nose:
Sweet, smoky aromas from Port Ellen welcome you. This is followed by notes of orange, raisins, figs and cinnamon.
Taste:
There's abundant spice and dried fruits from the Speyside and Highland whiskies. These are perfectly balanced by the notes of vanilla, releasing layers of sweet fruit, dark chocolate, toffee and roast nuts.
Finish:
Port Ellen provides a coastal smokiness that increases in intensity through the long finish.
