Hardy's The Riddle Rose is created principally from Shiraz with a small amount of Grenache. Strawberry and raspberry flavours leap out on the palate, leading into a light, crisp finish. During production, the juice is left to macerate on the grape skins only briefly, imparting the deep rose colour before draining off to ferment in stainless steel to preserve the freshness. A slightly off-dry vinification enhances the fresh summer fruit aromas. A great pairing with a light salad. |
