Flor de Cana Centenario 18 is a single-estate rum from Nicaragua, matured in oak barrels for an average of 18 years at the San Antonio Sugar Mill. A rich copper colour in the glass, with sweet aromas of toffee and butterscotch, spicy nutmeg and clove, and even a few dry grassy and floral hints. To taste, oak spices are at the fore, balanced out with a little sweetness. Notes of tobacco and a little fruitiness make this a superbly complex sipper. The spices continue to linger on making for a warming and satisfying finish. |
