Fireball Cinnamon Whisky was first introduced in 1984 in Canada. The story of its creation tells that it was the invention of a bartender attempting to warm up from the coldest winter Canada had ever seen. Originally created under the name Dr. McGillicuddy's Fireball Whisky as a part of the Dr. McGillicuddy range, the drink was later rebranded as simply Fireball Cinnamon Whisky, a brand which has seen considerable growth in recent years, engaging bartenders on social media and spreading via word-of-mouth.
