Evan Williams Bourbon is produced by the Heaven Hill distillery in Bardstown, Kentucky. It is named after Evan Williams, a Kentucky settler credited with being the first person to begin distilling in Kentucky, soon leading to the bourbon the state would become famous for.
Going above and beyond the minimum regulations for a bourbon, Evan Williams is aged for twice as long as is required and bottled at a higher proof than regulations demand. This extra attention to ensuring quality has made Evan Williams one of the biggest bourbon brands in the US. |
