Don Papa Sherry Cask is first aged in ex bourbon American oak barrels before being finished in four different types of sherry casks: Palo Cortado, Fino, Cream and Pedro Ximenez. The result is a rum blend with a delightfully dry, almost nutty nose with a rich, fruity taste and a wonderfully smooth finish.
It has a light amber colour with hints of red. The nose opens with fruity and nutty aromas. On the palate you experience richness and fruitness with a delightfully dry and velvety texture. The finish is long and smooth.
