Dalmore Port Wood Reserve has aromas of sweet red berries, Seville oranges, plum fruits and sticky toffee pudding. On the palate, you get a melange of flavours including nectarines, creamy caramel, roasted chestnuts and Java coffee. The finish is filled with rich plums, sultanas, Sanguinello blood oranges and macerated cherries. Aged in ex-bourbon American white oak casks, followed by aged tawny port pipes to create an indulgent whisky of complexity. It is with purpose retained at 46.5% abv in order to compliment the warm, enticing flavours of the Port and the classic taste of Dalmore. |
