Bushmills 16 Year Old Single Malt is matured in three different woods. Oloroso, sherry and bourbon casks are used for the first 16 years, before finishing in port wine barrels. This unique maturation give the 16 year old its ruby red colour and individual personality. A whiskey that has aromas of toffee and sweet spice, followed by praline, honey and toasted nuts. It has a deep finish jammed full of berries and dark chocolate. A rich, rewarding and enjoyable whiskey, with a mellow yet distinct flavour. |
