Nose:
Rich, fruity with notes of toffee, sweet spice, raisins and dates, with hints of dried apricot and fig
Palate:
On the palate, you sense the sherry influence. Flavours of raisins, sultanas, and Christmas cake come to the fore. Further notes evolve of chocolate and caramel, together with a subtle spiciness
Finish:
Long and warming finish, with a lingering sweetness; mandarins, ripe figs and a touch of spice. There are also notes of dark chocolate and a hint of espresso.
